Hey all,
So I had the pleasure of going to see The Book of Mormon last night. If that’s not BOOMING, I don’t know what it. In my opinion, It was a wonderful expression of how much us humans base our faith and lives on these physical books such as the bible, the quran, the book of mormon, and dare I say, the yoga sutras of patanjali. These books are just a person’s “imagination,” as they say in the musical, and his/her approach to living based on his/her understanding and past impressions. And if we fail to critically think about what we are being taught by these books then we are just followers and zombies in this world. If we can step out of the box, find answers for ourselves, and question what we learn from these books and from our teachers then we are finding wisdom in the teachings, not just the parroted knowledge. There is a big difference.
What have you adopted from the books that you haven’t fully thought through yet? Why do you think you did that?
Question and find the answers for yourself…
And for those of you who have seen the musical, Turn it ON!!!! 🙂
